Over 1000 people gathered for our recent event led by the Country Woods Worship Ministry Team and Clayton Jennings. We are thankful to God for the many people that surrendered their lives to Jesus that night.
More information about Clayton (www.claytonjennings.com):
Central Indiana native Clayton Jennings is an author, filmmaker, former ABC producer, and internationally known evangelist who is taking his message on the road, traveling non-stop and speaking to groups who are sometimes willing to travel hours just to hear him in person. His messages have been heard by over 20 million people online. His message is catching fire because millennials are thirsty for truth but he doesn’t water it down.
Clayton said, “So many popular speakers today want to tell you 10 ways to get rich, five ways to feel good, 18 ways to be motivated, and the millennial generation is just tired of hearing that. We’re like, ‘It’s a lie, and we don’t buy into that stuff.'”
Clayton comes from a long line of pastors but Clayton felt the call to be an evangelist. With over half a million people following him online, he reaches his audience through books, online videos, spoken word poetry, internet preaching and traveling to preach in person to thousands of people at a time.
Clayton preaches full time. His schedule usually has him in two or three cities a week. The Word of God is the centerpiece of his ministry as he proclaims the Gospel message.
“I’m not promised tomorrow. My life was radically changed when I was saved. I have a burning fire in my chest to give that back to the world, to tell them about Jesus. I’m not a role model. I’m just a sinner saved by grace running full throttle. To me, it doesn’t matter what people think about it. It just matters that they hear it because they need it,” Clayton said.
He has signed a book deal with Penguin Random House to write about his ministry with the book set to be released in January 2017.
“It’s a love letter to the millennial generation that challenges them to drop everything and follow Christ,” Clayton said. Despite his rise in popularity and upcoming opportunities to share his message, Clayton insists that the journey isn’t about him — it’s about God. He says sharing this message is the reason he was created. Clayton’s mission in life is to tell the world about the salvation offered only through Jesus Christ.
