“LIFE” @ COUNTRY WOODS
– We are “doing life” together as a church family. In a recent prayer time with our deacons, one of them prayed that God would fill this church with people who have come because they have heard that there’s LIFE @ COUNTRY WOODS! How awesome is that!
Country Woods is a church that was formed in 1990 in the little unincorporated community of Byram in south Hinds County, Mississippi. But it wasn’t long before that quiet little community turned into a growing, bustling suburb of Jackson, and now Byram is Mississippi’s newest city.
God has blessed Byram with many dynamic, Christ-exalting churches. Country Woods is honored to join with these other churches as we strive to reach our community with the love of Christ. And we are passionate about this!
From engaging times of Bible study in our Sunday morning Life Groups; to our energetic Morning Worship Gathering featuring a full choir and worship band; to exceptional age-group ministries for preschoolers through adults; to intimate, fervent prayer times in our midweek “Refresh” service; to mission and ministry projects that stretch from our backdoor to Kazakhstan, India, and beyond – we want the world to know about Jesus Christ and His offer of eternal life for anyone who will trust Him to save them!
