As the CWBC worship team, we stand on biblical principles that help us fulfill the vision of a fully devoted disciple of Christ who desires to live a passionate life of worship. These principles are:
"Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people." Ephesians 6:7 (NIV)
"You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV)
"He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord." Psalm 40:3 (NIV)
"There, I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy an pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- His good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:1-3 (NIV)
"Why are you downcast, O my soul, why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will praise Him my Savior and my God. ... By day the Lord directs His love, at night His song is with me- a prayer to the God of my life." Psalm 42:5, 8 (NIV)
"Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You. I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your Name I lift up my hands. My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise You. Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings." Psalm 63:3-5, 7 (NIV)
In addition, we highly recommend Life Group involvement. There are times you may be looking for a little more community than the rehearsal and service schedules allow, and Life Groups are a great way to develop that community.
